EUM

Overview

EUM (End-User Monitoring) collects user behavior and performance information from visitors who access WebApplications with EUM initialize applied, enabling monitoring of overall service provision status in addition to traffic control. Data collected through this function is recorded regardless of project/segment activation status, and application is supported through STCLab staff.

EUM Data (Terminology)

  1. Session Event: Counted once each time one user accesses EUM-applied WebApp with one browser (counted once per browser).
  2. Screen Event: Counted each time screen is loaded through screen open/move/back actions.
  3. Screen Response Time: Average time until screen is loaded and displayed.
  4. Resource Event: Total number of resource requests (API calls, DB queries, other asynchronous tasks) (※ Excludes NetFUNNEL-related calls, VWR popups, etc.).
  5. Resource Response Time: Average time for resource loading (response optimization indicator).
  6. Error Event: Total number of errors experienced by users (JS errors, API failures, etc.) — key indicator for rapid resolution.

Geographic Distribution / Ranking Charts

Geographic Distribution

Visualizes regional distribution of four major events (Session·Screen·Resource·Error). Used for regional performance optimization and customized service strategy development.

Ranking Chart – Top Browsers

Displays browser rankings most used based on session count (5-minute aggregation). Chart left shows session count, right shows browser types in descending order. Useful for browser compatibility/optimization checks.

Ranking Chart – Top Operating Systems

Visualizes most used operating systems (OS) based on session count (5-minute aggregation) in descending order. Helps with main usage environment identification and priority optimization target selection.

Real-time Trend Chart

Provides real-time updates every 5 seconds of traffic increase/decrease trends during the event period. Can be utilized for immediate abnormal sign detection and operational decision-making.
